二十一章 孔德之容,惟道是从。道之为物,惟恍惟惚。惚兮恍兮,其中有象。恍兮惚兮,其中有物。窈兮冥兮,其中有精。其精甚真,其中有信。自古及今,其名不去,以阅众甫。吾何以知众甫之状哉?以此。
It lies in the nature of Grand Virtue, to follow Dao and Dao alone. The expression of Dao is elusive and evasive. Evasive and elusive it gives you a sign of its existence. Elusive and evasive it contains matter within. Shadowy and dim in itself a Core of Vitality. The Core of Vitality is very real it follows certain rules. Throughout the ages it remains the same. From which we can look back to the beginning of the creation. How do I know what the beginning of creation like? I study that. 德是道的体现,所以德是跟随道的运行而成立的。道的行踪是十分飘忽的,但却确实的存在,它不但有存在的迹象而且还产生了物体。物体不但有内在的中心,而且跟随着一定的模式。从古到今,这个模式都没有改变。从这运作的模式中我们可以追溯到万物的始端。我就是知道这样的模式而冥想到万物开始的状况的。
